I created these works during the height of the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic. In my apartment, I worked in an 18 x 24 sketchpad. That restriction bred a series of imaginary worlds and inhabitants. Culling from catalogs and mail, I imagined different cosmic realms tied to our own materialistic surroundings. It was both an escape from and a channeling of the anxieties and tumult of the pandemic.

All works use collage, watercolor, and drawing. A few pieces feature cut-outs from the paper or woodcut prints. All sizes 18 x 24 (landscape ) or 24 x 18 (portrait)
